Job Captain (MEMarchitecture)

MEMarchitecture is a boutique architecture firm with big ambitions, based in the heart of San Francisco's financial district. We're seeking a Job Captain to join our thriving team and help create some of the most ambitious residential and high-end office projects across California and Florida.

We're service-driven and committed to advanced, sustainable construction methods and smart-technology integration in every high-end creative project we design. We believe in the power of a creative environment, and we're always exploring new design ideas, materials, and construction details. We're looking for people who share that passion, bring deep architectural knowledge, and are eager to take on more responsibility. 

Qualifications:

• Professional architecture degree
• 5+ years of experience in an architecture office, working on high-end residential projects
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
• Strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of interior materials, construction detailing, and methods
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Fluent in CAD; proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Bluebeam
• Strong design and presentation skills — sketches, renderings, or other media
• Experience developing construction documents
• Ability to uphold best practices and MEM's process and CAD standards
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to take direction from clients and supervisors
• Ability to meet deadlines for production, renderings, presentations, and research
