Form4 Architecture has a position available for a Project Architect with a minimum of 8 years work experience. The Project Architects at Form4 play a critical role in designing and delivering exceptional architectural projects. Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare project schedules and work plans. Plan and oversee project documentation
- Apply firm standards and conduct ongoing QC review of the documents
- Review project regarding construction standards, code, and ADA requirements
- Collaborate with the project team members on design solutions and documentation
- Resolve complex technical / design issues
- Communicate with consultants and authorities having jurisdiction
- Develop construction documentation drawings and provide construction administration duties
- Lead the production team
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Architect with a minimum of 3 years in the role in some of the following categories: commercial, civic, religious, office, residential, school and retail projects
- Experience leading, managing, and mentoring a project team
- Strong organization, communication, and relationship management skills
- Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam required. AutoCAD skills are helpful
- A well-developed design sense and excellent graphical skills
- Strong understanding of building materials, details, and construction techniques
- Ability to develop excellent construction drawing details that support ambitious design solutions
- Architectural license in the State of California preferred
