Junior Designer (ARG)

ARG is seeking a talented, well-rounded Junior Designer to join our San Francisco office. The ideal candidate has a commitment to design excellence, an appreciation for historic buildings, and an interest in working on all phases of architectural projects. ARG offers an office-centric hybrid work environment with an option to work remotely up to two days a week. Working alongside other architects, designers, historians, material conservators, and preservation planners in a collaborative environment provides for an array of creative interactions.

The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree from an accredited school of Architecture;
• Demonstrated interest in historic preservation and adaptive reuse;
• Strong design skills and able to implement design concepts, organize presentations, and prepare design and construction documents;
• Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently, while maintaining quality of work;
• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues;
• Expressed interest in Sustainable Design;
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Team player who contributes to a positive and effective work environment; and
• Creative problem solver who enjoys working on a diverse range of exciting projects.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68-$75K, commensurate with experience.
