Women In Architecture (WiA)

The AIASF Women in Architecture Committee (WiA) champions the advancement, visibility, and leadership of women in the architecture and design professions. Through dynamic programming and community engagement, WiA fosters a supportive network that addresses the unique challenges and achievements of women in the field. The committee promotes equity, inclusion, and representation at all levels of practice, creating space for meaningful dialogue and transformative change within the built environment.

Get involved!

The WiA held a planning meeting on August 5, 2025 to gather for the first step for WiA to become an official AIASF Knowledge Community. We defined goals, developed a schedule for monthly meetings, discussed leadership, and created a yearly plan.
