Support AIASF to expand its Youth Programming
With your support, youth programming will be offered twice annually to pivot our long-running Architecture + the City Festival toward advancing the next generation of architects, designers, and engaged civic citizens.
Goals and Outcomes
- Introduce youth to architecture and design, and specifically making design education accessible and free for students from under-served communities.
- Build understanding of design as a tool to address climate change through hands-on, age-appropriate workshops.
- Foster civic awareness of the built environment’s role in creating equitable and resilient communities.
- Strengthen mentorship connections between AEC members and partners and local youth.
- Launch a social media campaign to inspire more students toward design careers, inform parents about AIASF resources, and build visibility for hosting youth festivals annually.
