Lars Langberg Architects is a design-focused architecture studio based in downtown Sebastopol, California. We're looking for a Junior Designer with 0–4 years of experience who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow as part of our team. Recent graduates with exceptional portfolios are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to projects from conceptual design through construction administration
  • Assist with site analysis, planning studies, design research, and material research
  • Develop BIM models, construction documents, and detail drawings using Archicad
  • Research green building strategies and emerging technologies, and share insights with the team to advance our design approach and client work
  • Prepare client presentations, renderings, and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Participate in project meetings to coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and fabricators
  • Support coordination with landscape architects, engineers, lighting designers, and other project partners
  • Assist with construction administration and field observations as projects progress

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in architecture, or B.A./B.S with an architecture major
  • 0–4 years of professional architectural experience
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and graphic communication
  • Proficiency with BIM software (Archicad experience preferred; training will be provided for candidates with Revit or other BIM experience)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, with excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Salary

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. Expected salary range: $62,000–$78,000 annually
