Intermediate Designer (Min Design)
Min Design is a design-focused practice inspired by a foundation of architecture, landscape and art. We enjoy creating objects, spaces and environments that bring pleasure and delight into architecture. The firm’s work has been widely recognized and honored including the Architecture League’s Emerging Voices and Architectural Record’s Design Vanguard. Projects include commercial building, cultural projects, artist installations and spaces, multi-unit housing, commercial interiors, high-end residential, furniture and installations. We enjoy working with a wide variety of clients, scales and budgets.
We are seeking an intermediate to advanced (5+ years), experienced architect / designer to join our team. Experience in art related projects, multi-family housing, high-end residential, restaurant / cafe, educational and / or cultural spaces is desirable.

Collaboration and communication skills are a must, we have a flat, open structure, everyone wears several hats in our office. Candidates should exhibit excellent design skills, the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects, have experience with project management, work well collaboratively and independently, and have substantial experience with producing construction documents and construction administration. Attention to detail and good organizational skills are required. We value curiosity, a sense of humor, and conceptual thinking coupled with the ability to execute. You will be involved in all portions of the process including design, project management, proposals, as well as all phases of work.
Responsibilities
- Design development with Principals and design teams
- Coordination of consultants
- Maintain project drawings and files
- Assist in project proposals
- Assist in preparing project tasks and schedules
- Develop, produce and oversee construction documents
- Help maintain office drawing standards and processes
Skills
- Revit required
- Vectorworks knowledge a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Building code knowledge
- Graphic sensibility

- Hand drawing / sketching ability
- Interior design experience
