Construction Administrator / Technical Resource (Shah Kawasaki Architects)

Role Description
This is a full-time position as a construction administrator and technical resource. The successful applicant will be part of the project team during the designs development and will be responsible as the construction administrator to represent the team during construction. Project(s) could vary in size from $20 million to $40 million.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of professional experience including CA on a $20+ million project.
- Professional Degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect a plus
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Knowledge of construction practices and technical detailing
- Ability to prepare Revit drawings required during construction
- Ability to interface with Owner and Contractor
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to help others
- Willingness to be a technical resource to younger architects
Shah Kawasaki Architects is in Oakland’s Old Town one block from 12th Street BART station.
