Architectural Building Scan Technician - Independent Contractor Role (Floor Plan Visuals)

We are seeking a designated Architectural Technician to perform all of our surveys in the San Francisco area. This role is only open for an independent contractor. The contractor must be able to offer ongoing and full-time assistance and:

• Possess strong work ethic
• Be in good physical and health condition ( this job requires a full day of walking and a lot of time driving)
• Be very comfortable with technology
• Have a reliable vehicle
• Be responsible with expensive equipment
• You will perform on-site visits to residential and commercial properties and conduct scans using our scanners. Our equipment is handheld and scans in 3D as you walk the space.

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to properties and use our laser scanner to capture the property
• Professionally interact with our clients on-site
• Upload data to our office on time

Experience

• As an architectural scan technician, you'll gain the skills and experience needed to scan buildings of all types including large estates, commercial, retail and office buildings.
• No prior experience or knowledge of 3D scanning is required. CAD or architectural drafting experience a plus.
