Professional Development Summit

Join us for a multi-school Professional Development Summit. Designed to bridge the gap between academia and practice, this half-day event moves away from passive lectures and focuses on high-touch, human engagement. Students will participate in team-building, networking, and hands-on breakout sessions including resume reviews, mock interviews, and portfolio storytelling - led by local firm practitioners.

Hear from our Emerging Professional Award Winners; Julia Weatherspoon  and Damian Parodi of Gensler and Kevin Riley of DBA, alongside Y.A. Studios Firm Principal and AIASF Chapter President Yakuh Askew as they discuss the first decade of an architecture career. From finding their path and launching a practice to mentoring and hiring, panelist will share candid insights and advice for the next generation of designers.
