DIALOGUES: Ronald Rael + Behnaz Farahi

Thursday, November 20, 2025
5:30 PM - 8:00 PM (PST)

The Center for Architecture + Design (CA+D) introduces DIALOGUES, a new global conversation series exploring how design intersects with culture, society, and the contemporary urban experience. The 2025–2026 season examines concepts of the body in design and architecture, how humans physically relate to the built world, and how experience is shaped through design, technology, and interaction.

Dialogue 04 features Ronald Rael, the Eva Li Memorial Chair in Architecture in the Department of Architecture in the College of Environmental Design, and member of the art faculty in the Department of Art Practice at the University of California, Berkeley and Behnaz Farahi, designer, creative technologist and critical maker. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the MIT Media Lab, where she leads the Critical Matter Research Group.
