BAYA Fall Portfolio Review

BAYA is partnering with California College of the Arts (CCA) to host a portfolio review connecting students with architecture and design professionals from across the Bay Area. Primarily geared toward CCA students, the event will also offer a limited number of seats for young professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to share their work, receive constructive feedback, and build connections with professionals as they navigate their academic and early career journeys. The event is free and open to all participants.

Event Schedule

5:00–5:30 PM — Arrival Time for Parking/Check-in

5:30–5:45 PM — Networking & Introductions

5:45–6:40 PM — Review Session 1

6:40–6:50 PM — Break

6:50–7:45 PM — Review Session 2

7:45–8:00 PM — Q&A

Portfolio Review Format

Each participant will have approximately 17 minutes per review, structured as follows:

·       5 minutes: Silent portfolio review by the reviewer

·       5 minutes: Participant presentation of their work

·       7 minutes: Reviewer feedback and discussion

Participants will be assigned to randomized groups for each review session, ensuring they meet with different professionals across the two sessions. This format allows participants to gain diverse perspectives on their work, receive constructive feedback, and expand their professional networks.
