Professional Bio

Damian is an emerging leader whose work bridges design excellence and
community impact. Through seven years with ACE, leadership in shaping
next-generation talent pipelines, and contributions to transformative urban
projects across the Bay Area, he demonstrates a deep commitment to
advancing the profession, fostering equity, and creating meaningful, lasting
impact.
As an architectural designer and urban thinker, his work is grounded in the
belief that the built environment can foster more inclusive, vibrant
communities. Originally from Argentina, he moved to San Francisco seven
years ago and have since demonstrated a deep and sustained commitment
to engaging with and contributing to the local community.
His professional work spans architecture and urban design, with
contributions to complex, large-scale master planning efforts (most
confidential) across the Bay Area. His experience includes
key urban activation projects along San Francisco's shoreline, and
throughout the city, such as 945 Market Street, 2 Stockton, and 201
California, where I helped reimagine underutilized spaces into dynamic,
people-centered environments.
Beyond practice, he has shown exceptional leadership through seven years
with the ACE Mentor Program, serving as both Mentor and Team Leader,
reaching 175+ students throughout. In 2025, he was recognized as
Outstanding Mentor, reflecting his dedication to expanding access to
design careers and supporting hundreds of high school students across
San Francisco.
At Gensler, he has co-led the internship program for the past five years, helping
shape a meaningful pipeline for emerging professionals. He has played a key role
in recruiting and mentoring interns while leading design research initiatives
focused on real sites across San Francisco.
Damians work exemplifies a type of leadership committed to design
excellence, equity, and meaningful community impact.
