ARE Pact

ARE PACT is returning in 2027 — reimagined to better fit how candidates study today.

We're excited to announce that the ARE PACT program will officially relaunch in 2027, with a refreshed format designed for flexibility, accessibility, and real progress toward licensure.

The ARE PACT program, presented by AIASF's Architectural Licensing Committee, offers affordable, accessible ARE preparatory content taught by architects and engineers passionate about helping candidates on the path to licensure. The 2027 program is built around three pillars: on-demand recorded review sessions, interactive practice exam sessions alternating between in-person and virtual formats, and monthly drop-in office hours.

What's New for 2027

  • Fully on-demand review library. All review sessions are now recorded and released as part of our growing on-demand library, so you can review what you want, when you want.

  • Practice Exam + Office Hours. Practice Exam sessions and Office Hours are combined into one monthly session, so you only need to carve out one date per month. Each session alternates between in-person at the Center for Architecture + Design and virtual formats, giving every candidate a purpose-built experience whether attending in person or online. Drop in for Office Hours to ask questions and get guidance, then stay for the interactive Practice Exam — two 30-minute blocks covering that month's topics. 

  • New price, same benefit. ARE PACT is now $250 for the full year — reflecting our shift to an online-first model — and still includes the exam-reimbursement benefit upon passing the ARE within the program year.

Pact Enrollment

Enrollment for the 2027 ARE PACT program opens soon. Full program details, including the complete session schedule and how to register online, will be posted here as they're finalized.

Scholarships Available

AIASF is offering up to 2 full ARE PACT scholarships for the 2027 program year to candidates demonstrating financial need. Scholarship details and the application process will be announced alongside general registration.
