As our industry changes and continues to grow, relationships are increasingly important to every organization's resiliency and prosperity. AIASF sponsorship aims to develop and support strategic relationships between our community and sponsors. Sponsors have exclusive opportunities to reach and be recognized as leaders in the industry by more than 2,200 architects and 4,000 allied trade professionals in San Francisco and Marin Counties. Take advantage of these opportunities and demonstrate commitment to a high quality built environment by becoming a sponsor today.

Each year, AIASF and the Center for Architecture + Design produce a diverse calendar of educational programs and networking events which offer unique opportunities to promote your business directly to the local architectural community, allied professionals, and design enthusiasts across the Bay Area.

Demonstrate your leadership in the areas that matter to your business, and position your company as a thought-leader and source of trusted information. Sponsorship is a great opportunity to differentiate your company from competition with people who are active and successful in the built community.

Being a Sponsor is a cost-effective way to gain access to the community and AIASF members and develop key relationships to help your company maximize its potential.

  • Exposure to an interested, relevant and influential audience
  • Opportunities to build your client base through unparalleled networking opportunities
  • Corporate enhancement and brand recognition through the support of a non-profit organization dedicated to the architecture and design profession
  • Promotion of your company’s products and/or services
  • Greater visibility and a way to differentiate your firm

Celebrating San Francisco's unique built environment and design community, the 16th Annual Architecture and the City festival featured behind-the-scenes tours, film series, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, San Francisco Living: Home Tours, and much more. Presented in September by AIASF and the Center for Architecture + Design, the month-long festival provides a broad array of opportunities for the public to engage with the local built environment community and environment.

This year's theme, “We the City”, aims to explore how cultural diversity and connectivity inspire and inform the built environment. From the Dogpatch to the Outer Sunset -- San Francisco is a unique, diverse, and multi-generational mosaic. What connects (or disconnects) us? How will we reinforce keeping our city livable and sustainable? With more than 30 events, this public outreach festival is the most widely attended of all AIASF programs. Get involved as a Sponsor, and learn about the reach, networking and impact opportunities available through your support.

AIASF’s Community Alliance Awards program honors individuals, firms, and organizations whose overall work, leadership and dedication shape the character and vibrancy of our communities and the future of our built environment. An awards presentation and breakfast celebration held in December highlight these forward-thinking people and firms. Join us in honoring those who contribute to a better quality of life in the Bay Area and beyond.

AIASF’s annual Design Awards program recognizes outstanding achievements in architecture and design from Bay Area individuals and organizations. The Design Awards program is structured into categories and concentrations. By highlighting concentrations, AIASF aims to give special acknowledgement to projects that further encompass the values of good design within the context of historic preservation, urban design, and social responsibility. This demonstrates that all of these disciplines explored collectively, rather than independently, strengthen the overall power and scope of architecture to help shape the built environment and enrich the human spirit.

In recognition of the importance of sustainable design, AIASF instituted a separate award category for energy and sustainability in 2003. In the last 13 years, the profession as a whole has transformed the way it designs, builds, and maintains buildings. The Design Awards program now incorporates the fulfillment of sustainable design principles into all categories. Design Awards winners are announced at the Design Awards presentation and gala. Allied industries receive additional Sponsor benefits, at reduced Sponsor rates.
