(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) June 11, 2015 | The American Institute of Architects, San Francisco (AIASF) will hold its inaugural NEXT Conference, a two-day educational and networking event in San Francisco on November 12-13, 2015.
“NEXT will be a truly interdisciplinary experience that leverages the collective knowledge of professionals involved at every level of the Bay Area’s built environment from design, construction, building management through to the next stage of a building’s lifecycle including renovation, reuse and rejuvenation,” comments AIASF Executive Director Jennifer Jones, CAE.
AIASF invites experts to submit their ideas for presentations focused on the
latest in design innovation, technology and business practice. Visit http://aiasf.me/NEXTSFConference for a more detailed agenda and suggested
topics. Proposals will be accepted online at http://aiasf.me/aiasfNEXT through
Friday, June 19, 2015.
The first day will feature an in-depth discussion focused on Placemaking and its potential to positively influence the creative process through community engagement. Following a three-track system, the second day will highlight the latest in design, business, and technology.
“San Francisco is recognized as a leading hub for innovative design leaders and we are excited to bring everyone together to share ideas that will impact the next generation of the architecture and design profession as well as the future of the built environment,” says Irving Gonzales, 2015 AIASF President.
