Unbuilt Design

Designed to be fully present in its environment, the Ambient House responds to its physical and atmospheric surroundings. Conceived as a multiple layer system, inhabitants can transform the building envelope, providing desirable and temperate living conditions. The outermost layer, composed of porous masonry, allows views to penetrate, while providing privacy.
