Junior Architect (CAC Architects)
CAC Architects is seeking an ambitious Junior Designer with 1-3yrs of experience in commercial architecture, only (interior designers are also welcome to apply). The Junior Architect will assist in the development of architectural designs, create and review detailed drawings, and support project management tasks. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with teams, integrating architectural solutions, and leveraging technology such as BIM software to ensure high-quality project deliverables. The role also involves participating in the design of functional and innovative spaces for specialized facilities such as laboratories and data centers.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate on all stages of design and construction
- Effectively communicate with the client, city officials, contractors and team members on permit drawings for city officials
- Prepare design development and feasibility studies including design illustrations, presentation material, and digital models
- Assist staff with multiple projects simultaneously
- Responding to RFIs and producing additional drawings
- Take notes during meetings
- Attend meetings and site-walks based on project needs when shelter-in-place is lifted according to local restrictions
- All members of the staff participate in producing construction documents, without exception.

Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in architecture, interior design or similar fields.
- Minimum 1-5 years of commercial project experience
- Strong design skills and willingness to learn
- Good presentation skills and able to communicate effectively with the client and the team
- Self-motivated to efficiently work on multiple projects
- Good knowledge in state, local building codes and accessibility requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit
