Intermediate/Senior Designer (7-12 years experience) (Aidlin Darling Design)
Aidlin Darling Design is an award winning, multidisciplinary design studio in San Francisco. The firm’s work explores a closely held conviction that design can enlighten the human spirit by engaging all of the senses. Conceived as a creative hub for a network of collaborators, our interdisciplinary approach has led to a diverse range of projects including schools, community centers, wineries and residential commissions.
Qualifications:
We are seeking talented designers to join our studio. We are generalists, with every staff member expected to be involved in all parts of the design process, from design, production, modeling, rendering, research, coordination and management – commensurate with their experience and abilities, and in the flow of project needs. Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Architecture
- 7-12 years of experience in a professional architecture office
- strong design talent
- a passion for the complete process, from predesign through punchlist
- beautiful drawing and physical modeling
- digital design, modeling, and presentation-level rendering skill required
- excellent organizational skills
- clear graphic, written, and verbal communication ability
- custom residential experience significantly preferred
- REVIT experience beneficial but not required
- low egos and a strongly collaborative sensibility
Design staff are paid hourly at rates commensurate with experience level and abilities. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, health insurance stipend, 401k plan, and a discretionary annual bonus.
