Intermediate Architect (Noll & Tam)
Noll & Tam Architects is a 45+ person, award-winning design oriented architectural firm in West Berkeley celebrating 30 years in business. Public projects are our focus: libraries and other community and civic facilities, higher education, and K-12 schools. We also work on healthcare, animal care and zoos, and science and technology projects. Our firm culture is collaborative, team-based and friendly. We are seeking a person with 5 to 10 years of experience who is interested in working on a diverse range of projects and taking on a variety of roles and responsibilities.
Requirements for the position include:
- Master’s or Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited program
- Licensed to practice architecture (or well on the path to licensure)
- Experience as Job Captain or similar role on projects
- Experience in all phases of projects from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
- Proficiency with Revit
- Graphic skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Good technical design and detailing skills
- Knowledge of the CBC and accessibility codes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work onsite in office 3x per week
It would be a plus if you also have:
- Civic and/or Education (K-16) project experience
- Division of the State Architect (DSA) project experience
- Intermediate or Expert Revit skills

Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience.
