Healthcare Project Architect (Treanor’s Health Studio)
Treanor’s Health Studio is looking for a Project Architect to help produce and lead the “practice” side of the work. Join a great team of people contributing to the design, planning, production, and construction administration of some incredible and complex healthcare facilities.
What you’ll do:
- Attend and lead internal and external design meetings to provide design and planning knowledge/solutions.
- Prepare reports and bid documents, including drawings and technical specifications
- Maintain contact with the client, and keep the team apprised of design development as well as any decisions that may affect the design schedule, design budget, or construction budget
- Display and continue to develop a thorough understanding of program requirements, standards, and policies
- Develop and share planning concepts through excellent verbal, written and graphic communications, and architectural drawings
- Maintain advanced knowledge through continuing education of technical and regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities design and understanding of departmental organization and functionality.
- Monitor site activity for any potential unanticipated adverse effects, prepare site visit reports, and develop responses to RFIs.
- Act as liaison between contractors, consultants and other team members to facilitate proactive, creative solutions
- Maintain project records
What you bring:
- An accredited degree in Architecture
- 5+ years of experience in architecture
- A strong technical background, proficient in Revit with a working knowledge of Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and Construction Administration software (Newforma preferred)
- High levels of activity and productivity
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to quickly grasp new concepts, and convey information and ideas verbally and graphically
- The ability and willingness to travel outside of the local area to attend meetings at various sites
- The ability and desire to mentor young design professionals
What sets you apart:
- An architectural license or NCARB certification
- 3+ years’ experience in healthcare design and medical planning
- Healthcare design certification (ACHA)
- Active engagement in AIA and/or other professional organizations

Treanor is committed to equitable compensation practices. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, degree, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The anticipated base salary for candidates meeting the stated requirements is $75,000 and will vary by the states we operate in.
