Capital Projects Architect I/II (Humboldt County Public Works)
Humboldt County’s Facilities Management Division in the Department of Public Works is seeking a licensed architect to join our team as a Capital Projects Architect I/II. This unique role combines hands-on architectural design with leadership in planning and managing small and large capital projects across a diverse portfolio of public facilities, including courthouses, libraries, health clinics, public safety buildings, parks structures, airports, and other civic spaces. You will serve as Architect of Record on select projects, stamp and seal drawings, and oversee consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with California code.

Qualifications
• Licensed to practice architecture in California.
• Experience in public building projects, design, and capital project management.
• Expertise in California Building and Public Contract codes; knowledge of public bidding procedures.

Capital Projects Architect II: $112,694 - $144,601/yr.
