Everett Katigbak has a track record of joining transformative companies at early stages and scaling their brands through unconventional approaches. He was among Facebook's earliest employees, co-founding the unauthorized Analog Research Lab—a rogue print studio that challenged corporate culture through guerrilla street art. As the company's Environmental Design Manager, he collaborated with Frank Gehry on Facebook's 1 million square foot Menlo Park campus, scaling company culture globally through physical spaces. As Pinterest's first Brand Creative Manager, he helped build their foundational creative strategy. At Stripe, he helped transform a payments startup into a multimedia publisher, producing the acclaimed documentary "We Are As Gods." As founding Creative Director at Anthropic, he's building the creative organization and brand strategy for how an AI company communicates with the world through his philosophy of "analog intelligence"—thinking with your hands to create authentic, human brands in an increasingly AI world.

Primo Orpilla is the co-founder of Studio O+A, a multi-disciplinary San Francisco design firm recognized for pioneering new ideas about work and workplace. O+A’s groundbreaking projects for companies such as Slack, adidas, McDonald’s, Yelp, Microsoft, and Hyundai Motor Group have shown how design can transform the workplace into a catalyst for creativity and a driver of change. In addition to his firm’s commercial work, Primo has led a wide range of experimental initiatives—from pop-up installations to next generation office prototypes to new conceptual furniture design. During the pandemic, he guided his team in developing innovative space types for hybrid offices and the next generation of work, resulting in two widely shared digital downloadable guides, A Toolkit for the Times and The Eco Playbook. A frequent lecturer on design and the future of workplace, Primo speaks at schools and design conferences globally, inspiring the next generation of designers to draw on personal experience as their model for creating a better world.

You might say ZGF design partner Gene Sandoval has an active imagination. From growing up around a family shipbuilding business to finding early inspiration in sci-fi, the creative spirit was instilled in him from a young age. Gene is grateful and proud to have his roots in Asia, where he nurtured a penchant for unconventional thinking and resourcefulness that he leverages today for designs that creatively balance human and environmental performance. Gene leads design teams for some of the firm’s most complex and ambitious projects, including an expansion at the Nike World Headquarter Campus and doubling the capacity of the beloved Portland International Airport.
