In today’s evolving landscape of multiple project deliveries, the role of the Design Integration Manager (DIM) has emerged as a critical leadership position in successful design-build execution. This panel, presented by the DBIA Western Pacific Region Design Professionals Committee in partnership with AIA San Francisco, will explore the unique attributes, responsibilities, and impact of the DIM in fostering highly collaborative and high-performing teams.

Through a comparative lens on design-build and other delivery methods, the panel will highlight how the DIM bridges design and construction disciplines, resolves project challenges, and nurtures team synergy. Our seasoned panel of industry professionals will share personal insights, lessons learned, and practical resources that support effective integration strategies.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how the DIM contributes to a culture of trust, innovation, and accountability, ultimately enhancing project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction. This session is ideal for architects, engineers, builders, and owners seeking to elevate their collaborative practices and leadership capabilities in integrated delivery environments.
