AIA San Francisco partners with the California Academy of Sciences' NightLife and San Francisco Design Week to explore the many ways design impacts lives, culture, and science. Discover Bauhaus architecture in its centenary year and hear Paul Adamson, FAIA, of TCA Architects and current member of AIASF's Board of Directors, who will present on the topic of Bauhaus design and architecture. As one of of the speakers who will be presenting in the Tusher African Hall of the Academy, Adamson will draw from his recent experiences visiting sites of architectural importance in Germany. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend a Q&A following the talk. Additionally, we will be partnering with the Museum of Craft and Design who will host a weaving workshop of Bauhaus textile techniques.
