The 2019 ARE program kickoff will be held at the AIASF office on Tuesday, March 5, from 6 to 8 PM
Full details on the ARE Pact program, including how to register online for the ARE review classes, will be provided at the program kickoff event and digitally to all Pact program participants.
All deposit checks will be cashed by AIASF after the program launch.
The ARE Pact program, presented by AIASF's Architectural Licensing Committee, offers the perfect incentive to get licensed: take all exams required by NCARB for licensing within 12 months and you will receive a full refund of your $1,000 enrollment deposit. Enrollment in the program includes a peer study group organized by AIASF, a team leader and coach assigned to your group, free admission to class lectures for all six ARE divisions with dinner provided, study materials for the group and more. You can view the 2019 class schedule here.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to schedule exams, you must be confirmed eligible for testing by NCARB and the California Architects Board (or the jurisdiction where you intend to practice). Confirmation of eligibility may take 6-8 weeks, so it is crucial that you obtain your eligibility to test in advance to keep pace with the ARE Pact program timeline.
3 Steps to Enroll
(1) The registration form is the only way we have of contacting you—please follow the Register button at the top of the page!
Checks are the only accepted form of payment and must be received before the Pact program orientation kickoff on Tuesday, March 5 at 5:30 pm. Please complete (2) the ARE Pact MOU with (3) your $1,000 enrollment check, made payable to "AIA San Francisco", and mail to:
ARE Pact Program Manager
AIA San Francisco
130 Sutter Street, Suite 600
San Francisco, CA 94104
The completion date for the 2019 ARE Pact is March 31, 2020. You are only required to TAKE, not pass, all 6 exams by this date in order to be reimbursed for your $1,000 enrollment deposit. We can’t stress the word “TAKE” enough.
Register online by Tuesday, March 5 at 12 PM for group placement. Please fill out the form completely. You will be assigned a study group based on your answers to the questions in the form, and can request to be assigned to a group with friends or coworkers.
If you have not already done so, please create an account on aiasf.org (you will need this to sign up for all AIASF events; AIASF members will automatically have a profile on the AIASF website). While logged into your account, complete your event registration by clicking the "Register" button at the top right of this page.
If you have any difficulties creating a profile on the AIASF website, logging in, or registering for an event, please contact the AIASF reception at email@example.com.
