In this class, StonePeak Ceramics will teach the newest innovative solutions in the porcelain tile industry: the ANSI 137.3 Standards for Gauged Porcelain Tiles & Gauged Porcelain Tile Panels/Slabs. This standard has set forth the newest trends in floor and wall installations by re-defining the manufacturing process. StonePeak will also review the new ANSI A108.19 specifications for the installation procedures for these new large-format panels.

Attendees will learn the sustainability aspects of recycled content, closed-loop processes, energy savings, better indoor air quality, ADA complaint slip-resistant surfaces, and Environmental Product Declarations using Green Squared standards. Participants will see the unlimited design potential of this new technology from furniture to floors to walls to interior artworks to exterior ventilated facades using case history studies.

About the Speaker

Design has been Julie Solomon’s passion for the past 20 years since her graduation from Ohio State University with a BA in Interior Design.

Julie has traveled extensively throughout her territories meeting with architects and designers, learning their needs and exploring issues they face, and bringing that “real world” experience back to StonePeak’s management team to create better products and sales solutions for her customers.

Prior to her work in architectural and design sales with StonePeak Ceramics, she most recently worked at American Olean Midwest and ProSource Wholesale, both in Chicago.
