As the first of two Master Series programs in our 2017-2018 season, IES San Francisco Section is proud to present Enrique Peiniger, principal of the firm Office for Visual Interaction (OVI), an internationally acclaimed lighting design studio based in New York City, and one of the most innovative firms practicing lighting today. Driven by the virtuosity of its founders, Chief Innovator Enrique and Chief Creative Jean Sundin, the studio’s work reflects their passionate curiosity, technical imagination, and inspired artistry.

Constant experiments in the fields of art, science, technology and design push OVI’s ideas beyond convention and shape them with meaning and precision. Their work has become the launch pad of many innovations that are redefining the lighting field. OVI is the lighting studio for some the most iconic projects of our time.

OVI uses light as a medium to transform space, visuals and emotions. The controlled design of light over matter creates a sense of place and awakens the user’s cultural memory.Enrique Peiniger, Office of Visual Interaction As a principal and co-founder of Office for Visual Interaction, Enrique Peiniger, Dipl.-Ing., M.A., Assoc.
