AIA San Francisco’s popular San Francisco Living: Home Tours weekend is the first tour series of its kind in the Bay Area to promote a wide variety of architectural styles, neighborhoods, and residences—all from the architect's point of view.

The annual program provides design enthusiasts and the general public with an inside look into the world of distinctive residences in San Francisco. Projects are showcased with the designer(s) via an open house format, and tour participants have the opportunity to see some of the city's latest residential projects from the inside out, meet design teams, explore housing trends, and discover design solutions that inspire unique San Francisco living.

(Please note: Online ticket purchases close at 4:00 pm on Friday, September 11. Participants can purchase tickets at the Home Tours Headquarters located at 2128 Folsom Street starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 12.)

We strongly recommend purchasing tickets via the website. For problems or questions, contact 415.362.7397.

AIA SF members must have a valid AIA member ID# to receive the member rate. Available tickets will be limited in order to preserve the intimacy of the event and may sell out. Tours are self-guided. Your ticket will be mailed the first week of Septemeber and provide you with directions as well as maps to each of the homes. To help protect the privacy of participating homeowners, addresses will not be released prior.

BIKE HOME TOURS
We recommend biking the home tours weekend. Bicyclists must purchase tickets day-of at the Home Tours headquarters and must show up with their bicycle in order to receive the discount.

HOME TOURS HEADQUARTERS
September 12-13, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Stable, 2128 Folsom Street, San Francisco

Once the site of the Mayor's carriage house in the 1800s, this year's Home Tours headquarters, Stable, maintains the unique character of its original structure with updated modern elements. Revived by Malcolm Davis Architecture, the building is now home to Malcolm’s architectural practice, several small business offices and an apartment. The old carriage space below is a storefront for Stable Café, Mission Creek Kitchen and a gallery space, The Stable Salon.
