In existence for nearly half a century, AIA San Francisco's esteemed design awards program celebrates the best in architectural design, interior design, sustainable design, unbuilt design, and urban design in the Bay Area. An excellent showcase for the work of all professionals who commit their talent and energy to successful projects, our design awards program offers award-winning firms significant attention from the media, architects, design firms, and clients.

WHY YOUR FIRM SHOULD ENTER

We encourage firms to submit to our annual awards program because it is our policy to keep all design award entries on file for up to one year at minimum. Entries are regularly shared with local, national, and international media pursuing story ideas. In the past, writers and editors from Architectural Record, Dwell, Sunset, San Francisco, San Francisco Chronicle, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and the Design Within Reach catalog, among others, have used our submissions when looking for talent and stories on the Bay Area. Furthermore, all San Francisco-based residential projects are considered for the annual San Francisco Living: Home Tours weekend held each September.
