New Graduate Incentive Program Expansion - Effective May 1, 2014
In December 2013, the AIA National Board of Directors endorsed an expansion of the New Graduate Incentive Program that will allow the AIA to reach out to a larger, more diverse audience of prospective members, enhance the relationship between the AIA and schools of architecture, and help bridge the gap between schools of architecture and professional practice. These are all key objectives of the Repositioning the AIA Initiative on Emerging Professionals.
To respond quickly to the Board’s request, AIA National has broadened eligibility requirements for the New Graduate Incentive Program that will not require any bylaws changes to the Associate member category eligibility requirements (Section 2.21 a) and b) of the Institute's Bylaws.
