Presented by Alfredo Zaparolli, CEO, Techlinea Design Inc.

One of the great challenges of home creation during our times – particularly in the technology savvy Bay Area - is how to facilitate and coordinate the design of attractive, reliable, cognitive and intuitive technology while promoting mutual professionalism and technical excellence integrated with architectural and interior design.

The first objective is to review and understand the pitfalls and challenges that home Integrators have in introducing and designing reliable home technology. Secondly, the speaker will identify how designers can participate, foster, and even lead collaborative, team-technology-processes with ‘the client’ at the nucleus and without compromise to the interior designer, architect, builder, and home integration specialists, alike, as essential partners in the project.

Please join IFDA, BTicino USA and Crestron for a colorful conversation with Al Zaparolli about how to best integrate your design professionalism with the maze of technology surrounding today’s leading edge homes.

This program is part of Insight 2012. Join AIA San Francisco for two days of continuing education classes addressing leading issues on design, practice, and technology. This year's series will help you meet both your California and AIA continuing education requirements. Sign-up for one class or the whole series!
