RM Schindler: The Gingold Commissions (1.5 LUs)

Please join us in a discussion with Michael Boyd [contributing writer] and William Stout [publisher] about their new title RM Schindler: The Gingold Commissions. This exhibition catalogue documents a collection of 30 pieces of furniture designed by seminal Southern California modernist architect RM Schindler for Basia Gingold between 1937 and 1951. Photographs showcase the furniture developed for Gingold's residence and offices. The catalogue also includes drawings, elevations, and floor plans of Gingold's residence and office. Booksigning and Lecture presented by William Stout Publishers, the Mechanics Institute and AIA SF. Join us for additional author events at the Mechanics Institute on Thursday July 10 and Thursday July 31.
