Gilles Saucier, of Saucier + Perrotte Architects has received international acclaim for their cultural, institutional and residential projects. Founded in 1988, the firm has won over fifty awards and distinctions in North America. It is currently designing the University of Calgary’s Central Library as well as a thirty nine story hotel in the Kuching region of Malaysia.

Gilles Saucier received his diploma in architecture from the University of Laval in 1982. Since 1990 he has been a visiting professor and an invited critic at several Canadian and American universities. Gilles was one of the guest speakers at the New York Architectural League’s New Voices lecture series, the Power-Plant series in Toronto, and the Architecture Rampant series at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. His work as a photographer has fine-tuned his approach to architecture and helped evolve his perspective on the world and his work.
