Adventures in Architecture at the Contemporary Jewish Museum
September 18, 11:00 - 3:00 pm

Free with Museum admission. Youth 18 and under free. Limited space available.

Come and discover new ways of experiencing your relationship with the city and builtenvironment through an interactive tour of the CJM’s redesigned historical building. Interactive tours will include scavenger hunts, creative movement exercises, material investigations, and design challenges with recycled materials! Learn how art and architecture can impact your everyday life, and see how you can bring your very own building “to life!”

Drop-In Art-Making Workshop
September 18, 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Roll up your sleeves and celebrate Architecture Day at the CJM by creating an Out-of-the-Cube sculpture, inspired by the colors, shapes, textures, and patterns of Daniel Libeskind’s museum design.

Teen-Led Architecture Tour
September 18, 2:00 - 2:45 pm

Join us for a special teen led architecture tour! Discover how renowned architect Daniel Libeskind brought the landmark Jessie Street Power Substation back “to life.” This interactive, inquiry-based tour is led by members of Teen Art Connect, the Museum’s paid teen internship program, and is appropriate for all audiences.
