AIA SF is launching its first-ever Student Portfolio Review Day for current architecture students and recent graduates on Saturday, November 3, 2007, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at AIA SF. Designers from a range of backgrounds and experiences will be on hand to help you: - Best showcase your abilities, interests, and achievements
- Arrange and synthesize your design projects for a specific audience
- Think critically about shaping the next phase of your training
Each participant will be scheduled to meet with at least 3 different reviewers for 25 minutes each. There will also be guest speakers giving career advice and marketing best practices. Your portfolio need not be complete to participate in the review session, but materials and projects should be appropriately sized for on-site viewing. Please do not bring presentation boards. For more tips on preparing your portfolio, read Archinect's feature, "The Architecture Job Application Hints & Suggestions from Employers."
CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND ON APPLICATION FEES.
