Timbuk2’s first flagship store in Hayes Valley San Francisco marks an important shift in the company’s approach to brand marketing. The store allows Timbuk2 to take their iconic messenger bags from the streets and cycle shops to an environment designed specifically for their products. The jury commented: this low-budget project is a wonderful prototype. It foregrounds the product, achieves the clients goals, and creates a clean, straightforward design as durable as the company’s legendary products.
