This project involved the extensive remodel of an existing 1974 cast concrete and brick house for a couple with plans to expand their family. The primary living spaces, kitchen and baths were all reconfigured to maximize the flexibility and fluidity of the space and coded to register the new insertions against the existing masonry shell. The jury commented: this sensitive remodel made an architectural statement livable.
