The programmatic requirements called for a comprehensive renovation of a William Wurster residence built in 1960. Here the patterns and demands of contemporary life dictated the configuration of key areas of the house. Central to this project was the need to create new architectural interventions that accommodate the needs of the owners while maintaining the identity and experience of Wurster’s remarkable design.
