Commissioned by the City of San Francisco, the new Public Utilities Commission Headquarters is a 13-story, 277,500 SF administrative office building which establishes a benchmark for sustainability within the urban environment, exceeding LEED™ Platinum rating, while successfully complementing the formal precepts of its historical civic setting. The jury was particularly impressed with the well-considered placement of the wind turbines.
