Architect/Project Manager (Residential, Type V projects)

Intermediate to senior level performer with proven ability in production, project management and construction administration. Position requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in all phases of design, documentation, project administration and client management. Experience with all aspects of Type V residential construction projects, from design through construction administration is required. Candidate must possess a strong work ethic with a focus on attention to details.

Overall Experience and Qualifications must include: • Thorough knowledge of residential construction methods, details, building materials and building codes. • Working knowledge of structural, HVAC, electrical, lighting and other building systems. • Complete understanding of working drawings and detailing for residential construction. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and the MS Office Suite. • Interest in developing 3D/BIM capabilities within the office desired. • Construction and/or construction administration experience required. • Positive, customer-focused attitude. • Strong communication skills; oral and written are essential. • Self-starter capable of operating with little supervision. • Proven capacity for leadership responsibilities and for directing a team. • Supervision of junior staff must be instructional and constructive in nature. • Personable, team player, with a sense of humor a plus.

Credentials: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture, Design, or related field required. Registered Architect - comparable license or certification preferred but not required.
