An established, award winning firm based in Walnut Creek, California, is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Project Architect who specializes in contextually sensitive and highly detailed estate homes. Ideal candidate will possess strong experience in all phases of a project from design through construction documents.

REQUIREMENTS

Architectural Registration in California or NCARB a plus.

+8 years of professional working experience; Experience leading Type V, outstanding abilities in design, detailing, problem solving, and documentation experience; Superior familiarity with materials and products; Excellent Communication skills – listening, speaking and spelling;

Must be an AutoCAD 2006 expert.

Specific skills include: design, project planning and staff budgeting, construction documents, client communications and team leadership. The ideal candidate must be adept at handling multiple projects and multiple teams, delegating work effectively and critically, reviewing and coordinating the work of others. Strong knowledge of the design delivery process, design review boards, common sense, logic, articulate graphic and verbal communication along with writing skills.
