We're an established, small (but growing), award-winning Berkeley, CA firm doing a wide range of exciting projects, focused on multifamily/mixed use, but expanding into urban design, custom homes, and working on getting civic and community buildings. We're open to a range of experience - 3 to 10 years - and are focused on finding the right fit (in terms of philosophy and personality) rather than meeting a too-narrow set of bullet points. A license would be great, but if you're working toward it and have something real to offer us and our clients, that's fine, too.

For a progressive firm, we're regressing in one important way...we're shifting back to the excitement, meaning, and metaphors that we all immersed ourselves in during architecture school. We're proud of our designs of the past, but we want to explore more sculptural ideas and dynamic approaches. We've reached a level of achievement and experience, and are having more and more fun with design!
