LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT -- 04/30/08 – San Francisco / Oakland, CA

Experience Required: Senior Landscape Architect / license preferred

Adrienne Wong Associates, Inc. (AWA) has a position available for a Landscape Architect / Project Manager with heavy emphasis in Design, Project Management and construction detailing.

AWA is a small award winning landscape architecture and sustainable planning firm, with offices in San Francisco and Oakland. We have a heavy emphasis on architectural hardscapes and are seeking talented and motivated individuals to work as a team member on a variety of large scale public sector projects. Position will require management and review of staff projects.

Project types: Large scale public projects, transit, parks, streetscapes, housing.

Requirements are: • Design and construction detailing; 2-3 years experience in design and construction documents. • Strong proficiency in Autocad for large scale projects • Ability to work in a team • Strong technical knowledge in all aspects of Landscape Architecture. • 1 to 2 years of Project Management – includes monitoring both costs and budgets. • Ability to supervise and manage a staff of 3 or more in regards to tasks and responsibilities. • Ability to interact with clients. • Ability to set realistic professional and departmental goals in regard’s to accomplishing company’s ones. • Ability to promote and monitor the professional development and technical knowledge of those under his/her supervision. • Specifications • Strong organizational skills • Ability to multi-task • Attention to detail
