ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT MANAGER

We are currently in search of a highly motivated and talented Project Manager who is self-driven, detail oriented, and able to work well in a team environment. This individual will be a valuable addition to our architectural design team and will be able to come in and hit the ground running. Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a great attitude are essential. Requirements: Ideal candidates MUST have a minimum of 10-15 years of architectural experience and at least 5 years of project management experience with strong presentation and communications skills. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and be able to lead and direct the work of staff and consultants. Requirements of the position will include overall project responsibility including scheduling, budgeting, staffing and construction administration. The position will be accountable for all work performed as well as client relationships and profitability. Candidates MUST have a degree in architecture and strong, direct experience with design of public projects. Experience with civic facilities strongly preferred. California architecture license is required. Candidate will be responsible for several projects in all phases of development. Oversees design development, production of working drawings and construction documents and contract administration. This position requires someone who is capable of leading a team and is also willing to work on their own, when necessary. He/she must be a self-starter, design conscious and detail-oriented at the same time. Emphasis for this position is on communications with the client as well as internal and external team members including outside consultants. Strong proficiency and working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, MS Project, Word and Excel. Knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator is a plus.
