SENIOR LEAD ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

We are seeking a Senior Lead Architectural Designer with minimum of 10 years experience to play a key role in the growth and development of our firm.

The Designer position is responsible for: • Leading creative efforts on projects, initiating and developing design concepts and directing the work of others • Translating the client’s vision into form and structure with respect to project scope, construction budget and client goals • Mentoring, developing and training design staff • Cultivating an environment of inspiration and innovation to achieve design excellence • Participating in the strategizing and attending interviews with potential clients • Participating in presentations to clients, elected officials and community groups

Individual Characteristics and Qualifications A prospective candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience and well-rounded building type experience in Beverly Prior Architect’s project types (education, civic, justice). Additional criteria include: • Hands-on experience with the design of public buildings • A belief in the importance of design excellence within the context of an integrated practice environment • Ability to develop relationships with clients and colleagues • Have a cooperative attitude and be a team player • Able to think quickly and convey inspiration • A strong, “marketable” presence • Licensed in California • Must be a U.S. Resident • Candidates with experience in AutoCAD, REVIT and 3D modeling software preferred
