Patricia Motzkin Architecture, an award winning Berkeley design firm specializing in custom residential design and interiors, seeks a responsible architecture graduate to participate in all aspects of office practice at an intermediate level. Intermediate Architect Duties: This position requires the ability to work with other team members, to provide thoughtful design solutions, prepare detailed construction documents, to undertake code and specification research, to coordinate with consultants and contractors. Candidates should be able to take a strong lead in the development of various projects simultaneously. Duties will include design, organization, production, and review of drawing packages, presentation materials, scheduling, specification and code research and construction administration. The candidate is expected to have strong computer skills as well as written and verbal skills for assisting in consultant and client meetings.

Intermediate Architect Requirements: Candidates must have graduated from a NAAB accredited school of architecture and be actively seeking or obtained license.

At least 5-7 years of work experience in an architectural office.

Strong VECTORWORKS skills required. Knowledge of SKETCH-UP, Photoshop, and/ or Illustrator desirable.
