The principals of Carey & Co. are looking for a creative, energetic, and motivated person to lead our marketing efforts. We are a historic preservation architecture firm committed to providing outstanding design and preservation services to public and private clients throughout the West. Our offices are located in a historic fire house near Union Square and easily accessible via public transportation from all parts of the Bay Area. Founded by Alice Carey in 1983, our firm is growing and evolving and we need a talented individual to oversee our efforts as we improve our brand position, grow our practice, and increase our visibility as designers! The position includes both internal and external communications; writing, editing and preparing marketing materials; responding to new business inquiries; coordinating and producing graphic materials; and preparing award submittals. Some business development activities are also possible depending on qualifications and experience. We are looking for a candidate with a strategic vision, a strong graphic eye, and outstanding writing and editing skills. Facility with InDesign and Photoshop is desirable. We offer an excellent benefits package, including 401(k).
