BUILDING ENCLOSURE COUNCIL (BEC-SF)
Promotes awareness of building envelope design as a critical aspect of the successful construction of buildings, and fosters the education of building industry professionals regarding the design, construction, and maintenance of building envelopes.

Assists AIA SF staff with media relations and outreach for programs such as Architecture & the City. Assisted Legacy Committee on 10x10 Cities for the 2009 AIA National Convention. This committee hosts Technology and the Small Firm, a seminar series demonstrating how technology and online tools can enhance the small firm practice.

EMERITUS

The Public Policy Committee meets monthly to identify ballot initiatives, planning issues and local, state and national political issues which are pertinent to the architectural profession.
